Our mission
To deliver disciplined, affordable secondary and technical education to every child of Hetauda and the surrounding wards, with no family turned away for want of fees.
About the school
Founded in 1959 (2016 BS) and run with its community ever since, the school today teaches NEB Plus Two streams alongside CTEVT civil engineering programmes.
Shree Bhutandevi Secondary School opened its doors in 1959 (2016 BS) as a small community primary school on School Road, built with land and labour donated by the families of Hetauda-4. As Hetauda grew into the administrative centre of Makwanpur, the school grew with it — to lower secondary, then secondary, and finally to the Plus Two level under the National Examinations Board.
The technical wing came later. Recognising that many students in Makwanpur need an employable qualification rather than a general degree, the school partnered with CTEVT to run the Diploma in Civil Engineering and the 18-month Pre-Diploma (Civil Sub-Overseer) course from its own workshop and drawing hall.
To deliver disciplined, affordable secondary and technical education to every child of Hetauda and the surrounding wards, with no family turned away for want of fees.
To be the school in Bagmati Province that parents trust first — where results are published honestly, teaching is measured, and technical graduates leave employable.

The School Management Committee reserves a fixed share of every intake for students who would otherwise be unable to continue. Applications are reviewed each trimester and the approved list is recorded in the committee minutes.
